Friday 25 October 2024 Gaelic Football Well done to the 15 children from Year 6 who represented St. Mary's in an inter-school Gaelic football competition at Mitcham Rugby Club on Wednesday. Although many of our students are new to the game, they played with a lot of skill, commitment & teamwork and were victorious in most of their games. Thanks also to the parents/carers who took them to the venue and back, and cheered them on from the sidelines.

Friday 18 October 2024 Cross Country Cross country As always, a truly wonderful event! It is incredibly heart-warming to see our pupil's proudly displaying determination, resilience, team work and endless talent in running. Both cross-country events were incredible events to be part of, as our children supported each other and cheered each other on at every moment. We had an endless list of successes, including securing individual 1st places for Poppy and Oliver in their Year 4 events, 2nd places for Raphael and Josh in their Year 5 and Year 6 events and having two of our pupil's quality to represent Sutton at the London Youth Games at Parliament Hill in November, a huge well done to Josh and Ben. Running is of course a team sport and every finish contributed to an overall win for our girls teams and boys teams. St Mary's took first place in the following events; Year 4 boys, Year 5 boys, Year 5 girls, Year 6 girls, Year 6 boys and secured second place in the Year 4 girls’ race. Friday 13 September 2024 St. Mary's Feast Day - September 2024 Our school feast day, to celebrate the birthday of Mary, was enjoyed by all, it was unfortunate that the weather was not brighter but the treat for the children, seeing the amazing animals was wonderful experience. Hopefully they told you all about it.
