Year 3 Admissions
St Mary’s is a Voluntary Aided Federation in the Archdiocese of Southwark. It was opened to serve the Catholic community, in particular, the children of practising Catholic families living in the parishes of Holy Cross, Carshalton, Our Lady of the Rosary, Sutton, St Margaret’s of Scotland, Carshalton Beeches, and Holy Family, Sutton Green.
Parents elect to apply for this school in order to ensure that the Catholic values and way of life are passed on to their children at home, in the parish and at school.
St. Mary's Catholic Junior school intend to admit 90 children into Year 3 each academic year (depending on need and applications received).
N.B. Pupils attending St. Mary's Nursery & Infant School are still required to complete an application to the junior school.

This will give you the opportunity to see our schools on a typical day and to ask any questions as you walk around.
To book onto one of our Open Days, please visit our Open Day page for more details - https://www.smcsc.org.uk/open-day.php
Year 3 applications MUST be made through your local authority as well as sending a supplementary application form and bpatism certificate direct to the school. You can apply for all of our local authorities through the e-admissions website
(Whilst we ourselves can not guarantee a place at the Junior school it would be most unusual, and to this date has not occurred, that a place has not been offered.)
