Nursery Admissions

St Mary’s is a Voluntary Aided Federation in the Archdiocese of Southwark. It was opened to serve the Catholic community, in particular, the children of practising Catholic families living in the parishes of Holy Cross, Carshalton, Our Lady of the Rosary, Sutton, St Margaret’s, Carshalton Beeches, and Holy Family, Sutton Green.

Parents elect to apply for this school in order to ensure that the Catholic values and way of life are passed on to their children at home, in the parish and at school.

St. Mary's Catholic Infant school admit up to 39 children into nursery - this could be either morning places,or all day places for those children entitled to the extended 30 hour provision or a combination of both.

Attendance in one of our Nursery classes does not give priority for a place in Reception at the school and a separate application for a starting school/Reception place must be made directly to the London Borough of Sutton.

Children will be eligible for consideration for entry to Nursery from the term after their third birthday.
